Tomato Basil Crackers


Simple is Best!
If you are new to Raw, here’s a bit of advice: start simple! Some recipes can be pretty intimidating; with a long list of ingredients (half of which you’ve never heard of, let alone know where to find them!) and endless steps. Start with simple recipes to help you build your confidence. As you feel more and more comfortable and sure of yourself, you’ll soon be able to tackle more intricate recipes. There is plenty of easy, and quickly whipped up recipes available.


But regardless of where you're at on your raw journey and in your creative process, experimenting with raw foods should above all be something fun!

Tomato Basil Crackers

1 Tsp Real Salt or 1 Tbs Bragg's liquid aminos
1 tbs italian seasoning
1/4 c. fresh basil leaves
1/4 C filtered water
1c. sun dried tomato, soaked overnight, save soaking liquid
1 c. fresh ground flax meal

Chop all ingredients,except soak water, fine in food processor.
Adjust seasonings to taste. With processor running, add reserved soaking water
and filtered water until mixture becomes creamy. spread on teflex sheet.
Dehydrate at 115° for 8-12 hors. Turn over and remove the teflex sheet,
continue to dry until crispy.
